Yeah, it's probably the weakest title of the ten. My guess is the license was cheap and they wanted to round out the variety of titles to cover various genres.

There's also another what if scenario that came to my mind: licensing unreleased Neo Geo games like Hebereke Pair Pair Wars, or even homebrew games like those by NGDEV. How possible is that scenario?

I want to see how much they sell in units.

The type of quality of games NG: Dev (like them or not) produced needed a few people spending a lot of time creating them.
So a much bigger amount of people would be needed to buy them for the prices they ask for now (79 bucks, if I am not mistaken)

Personally, I am not sure how and if to proceed with Hyperblaster.

If demand is strong I think we will see more games for a year or two but goobs thinking it’s the 2nd coming of SNK are going to be disappointed.

Q1 2027 needs an AES+ release of the sequel, NAM-1976, or this system will be a massive flop that no one is should buy.

The screenshots for Magician Lord on Plaion's site are of the MVS version (four squares of health). I hope that's just a case of an intern monkey screenshotting the first romset listed in MAME: I much prefer the home console rules and that version's been shut out of modern rereleases outside of the old and delisted Neo Geo station version. It's not clear which version of Shock Troopers is used either but I wouldn't expect that to be mentioned in a press release.

The mention of Scottland being included on Turf Masters make me wonder how hardcore they're going to be about including CD enhancements and extras. I'd love to see a definitive release of MS1 that includes the Combat School and expanded option menu from the NGCD port without the graphic and animation cuts of that (and derived) versions, but that'd be a lot of work for something realistically nobody gives a shit about.
