On another note though. I am wanting to see of the AES+ actually will use good microswitches. The last attempt was dog shit with the NeoGeo X. The parts they used were all on the right shape, but the quality made them almost unusable.

I guess the “saving grace” is that everything we are hearing a seems to point to a legit replica so I assume good micro switches should be top of the list in design.

Okay? I still like the Evercade Pocket? You can use that tiny uncomfortable looking thing if you want. Still need 2 pockets either way.

yeah but you’d need to add a controller because touch screen is balls. My little evercade china POS was probably the same price as one of those.
One of these controllers work great. Picked one up for $25 from woot a while back. A decent phone works better than most retro devices.

As far as Amazon goes it looks like all games and memory cards are now unavailable. Only systems and controllers are left.

Plaion has said a couple times that there's no availability limitation, everyone in the US will have time for preorders after the tax issue is resolved, etc. And someone (here? in an interview?) implied that it wasn't even in physical production yet when they launched preorders.

So why would Amazon be sold out? I dunno. It'll probably come back as in-stock.

They might have sold out of the initial pre orders.

It's not like Amazon can just take infinite preorders. They have an allotment, and if that increases in the future they can open up for more.

Looks like they figured out shipping.
