Think the dude found a stash of Neo release titles in a warehouse or something and he was selling them for dirt cheap like $40 a pop or something. I would have two of each. One for playing and one to keep sealed. Stupid because outside of the Neo Seal you could hardly tell which was new and used.

Here are some of the most interesting details revealed during the interview.

_The original controller ports have been retained to ensure an experience identical to the original AES, with zero latency when using wired controllers.

_The console features an analog video output using the Mega Drive 2/Genesis 2 mini-DIN connector, a choice made to provide stereo audio, unlike the original AES output which was limited to mono sound.

_A custom BIOS developed by @furrtek replaces the UniBIOS. It includes modern features such as AES/MVS mode selection, region switching, MVS soft dips, memory card management, and high-score saving.

_The console also incorporates Furrtek's smart overclocking feature, allowing the CPU frequency to be increased from 16 MHz to 24 MHz to reduce slowdown in certain games. Its effectiveness will still depend on the cartridges' ability to keep up with the higher operating speed.

_The Neo Geo AES+ simply would not exist without Furrtek's documentation work and technical expertise.

_Particular attention has been paid to the shell design, build quality and even the weight of the console and accessories. #SNK

The only thing I see missing from the BIOS options are cheats.
I like turning on turbo fire in MS because my hands are old.
It's also nice in older fighting games to do a makeshift practice mode.
Otherwise I'm looking forward to this more and more.

I have reservations about the overclock feature. I hear is is a controlled feature? If there is a simple switch to turn it on or off then I don't think it is an issue. But if it is "always on" then that will be annoying. I still think the original slowdown is apart of the Neo-Geo experience. The only thing I think that I would utilize the faster speed would be for MS2 I think it would work like a built-in MS2 Turbo mod.

Don't worry. For sure it will be a toggle. If it were left on all the time it would cause issues with certain games.
