Are Jap Neo Geo CD controllers compatible with Jap AES Home-cart systems?

Ok Thanks, I should be getting my Jap Neo Geo AES system soon, but it only comes with one joystick....so i'll need to pick up another one for 2 player Metal Slug 3 <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0">

Hello,
I also have a second joystick, but it has a scratch from the A button down to the edge of the controller, it's deeper at the start for 1 inch the gradualy fades,
It's in full working order (£15)
(Im the one selling you my neo soon to be yours).

when you say 'scratch' how wide is it, faint scratch? or deep scratch?

there is no problem of compatibility between the neo cd and the aes.I play at my euro aes with neo cd joypads.
