Need Help...

Hello all, just wondering if any of you can help with these problems:

1. I have a US Dreamcast and the US version of Gauntlet Legends and it wont load. Each time I put it in the console the no disc screen comes up (the one with the VMU/Time/Date etc settings) and it goes no further. Any ideas on what might be wrong ?.

2. I have a JAP Xmen VS Streetfighter for the Saturn (PAL Saturn) and I have the 5 in 1 cart (it has a converter in it and 4 MB RAM). The game loads fine up until the intro screen then it keeps repeating the intro screen over and over again. It wont go to the main game screen at all. I have found one solution which is to use the converter cart up until the capcom screen appears then replace it with the offical 4 MB RAM cart that comes with Vampire Saviour, but I don't really like doing this cause it requires ripping out the RAM cart when the machine is still on. I don't know if that will damamge the machine, it hasn't so far, but I would like to know if there's an alternate solution. Has anyone here experienced this problem, if so what did you do ?.

1) it will not read your US DC disc? Maybe you'll need to clean your laser lense or disc. The worst case will be you have defective copy but I don't think so.

2) Don't try to use "swap" method or your Saturn cartridge slot will mess up. 5-in-1 cart will also damage your Saturn slot. At least 6 gamers, including myself, have ruined Saturn console.
