Need help on ac

I've just got a japanese home cart system
i was wondering if the ac adaptor included works in US
the input is 100v 50/60 hz 38va
output is dc 5v 3a
this is the jap adaptor, does it work in the us?

It should work - I have a SuperGrafx that also came with a 100v adapter, and that works. At the same time, if you want to be extra-cautious, you can always get a step-down adapter for 120->100v. I'd also take care not to leave it plugged in when you're not actually using the console.
