Name that Capcom Artist

Can someone tell me the name of the Capcom artist that was responsible for the character art for the Vampire series and Alpha 1 and 2.

According to my Capcom Illustration Mook, the artist's name is BENGUS.

What about "Holy Homerun"? Whoever that is they're listed as doing the character art in the credits for Darkstalkers, Alpha and Alpha 2.

To be honest, I'm not familiar with the game 'Holy Homerun'. But as Domino-chan said, Bengus did all the art for the Darkstalker series, as well as Street Fighter Alpha series (although Edayan helped on Alpha 2, and a few people chipped in on Alpha 3...the main character design illustrations in Alpha 3 are still him, I believe). Bengus also worked on Street Fighter 2 Turbo, Super SF 2, as well as the Vs. games. This is all pretty well documented in various Capcom art books.

Bengus later changed his pen name to what it is now: CRMK. It's easy to see exactly who did what by checking out thhe book Domino-chan mntioned, 'Capcom Illustrations' (a Gamest mook), or the newer 'Capcom Designworks' books (by Famitsu and Enterbrain). Bengus/CRMK is my favorite of Capcom's artists, and I like him as much as Shinkiro's SNK work.

Just for clarification, the artist you are talking about from CvS2 is Kinu. Although you may not like Kinu's art on that game, chances are you liked her work on SF2 Championship Edition, Super SF2 Turbo, etc. Her style changed pretty drastically when everyone went digital, but actually, I like it. "Heinous" is in the eye of the beholder, the same way some fools don't like Shinkiro...

I also think that Kinu's art is heinous (pretty well describes it actually). Bengus or "CRMK" is absolutely amazing however.

Perhaps "heinous" was a bit too strong of a word to use. I guess Shinkiro's overly clean style makes her style look worse than it actually is since it's rugged and sketchy. I would have much preferred Capcom given the art chores to Bengus/CRMK on CvS2 but no sense in crying over spilt milk at this point.
