Got a replacement chassis. Exact same model.. I tried nearly everything. Kept the bad one anyways. I mean, no reason not to keep it..

This is literally my personal holiday season for chassis reworking. I'm redoing all my caps on all four of my candy's soon. Now that this mess is solved, it's a huge step forward. I got this cabinet with a dead monitor.

It really is like a saved unit, it has burn in on the screen, some asswipe graffiti'd the glass.
If I didn't restore it, I wonder if it would have just been chopped up for parts.
I wonder if I can fill that in with some water glass compound. Anyone have experience in that regard?
