Hi,
Finally got round to wiring up a supergun today. It's alot easier than I had expected, got my info from this place, http://freespace.virgin.net/chad.gray/Supergun/supergunIndex.htm.
Makes it a piece of piss to do.
Anyway, I found a 1 slot mvs on ebay, and fired the old girl up for the first time. Only got samurai showdown and sengoku, but metal slug should arrive next week too.
Even though sam showdown is old I was immediately immpressed by the sharpness and quality of colour/image, more so than my dc.
Now I really can't wait to get more of the carts.
Today was also the first time I have ever played on a real neo system too, shocking isn't it. I've been used to neoragex, but now I can play the real thing, it's much better.
For those who are interested, I'm running it on a 29" sony 4:3 tv, with sound through a marantz pm66se amp and mordaunt short ms25i speakers. All terminals are gold, and video is via an rgb scart cable.
For joysticks I chose the dreamcast arcade sticks, which work a treat.
I'm really excited now, and can't believe how much better picture quality is than the ps or dc.
Hope I didn't bore you too much.
Mark
