MVS Phantom Converter.....again...

I know this may be getting beat to death, my converter doesn't work with my system. Just get wierd blocky stuff, then a blue screen. I have the arrows lined up and facing me and the audio outputs to my left. Now, the question is this, can't I just bend the contacts on the console out more? That is the problem I assume, my regular AES carts work fine. My only other option is to send it off to get new slots...
