There's some maximum number of softdips in a multicart that you can set and save at one time. Setting any more beyond the limit will cause the first ones to reset.

Yeah, i just thought id say that, some people have just clicked buy it now, they've sold quite a few buy it now at 200... i didnt know the 150 in 1 was the newest version of a multi cart, they had a 120 in 1 as well but that was slightly cheaper, i thought because it had less games, i sorta thought hey 1 dollar a game, kof remakes or not, il enjoy alot of the games on the multi cart like crossed swords, neo bomberman, viewpoint, metal slug 3 etc, and a few interesting ones id love to give a try such as Neo Mr. Do! which seems like a fun puzzler!

i've bought magician lord recently which arrived (payed about 40 bucks for it) and then i bought cyberlip (about 40 bucks as well) and man does it add up how much you pay, i finished magician lord in like an hour or something, yeah i know neo geo is meant to be expensive but im sure the multi cart will do me some good in the end. Im awaiting cyber lip as well, cant wait for that to arrive... and a bonus is that these two games arent in the 150 in 1 so thats a bonus.

I only really bought the 150 in 1 cause its got pretty much all the games i'd want to buy for the MVS.. there is a few that are missing such as league bowling, nam 1975, shock troopers 1 that i will have to buy as originals but that gives me something to save up for and cherish more (shock troopers 1 itself is like 100 bucks!) also over time i will buy the games i've enjoyed on the multi cart until one day i have a collection full of originals! and besides.. i bought a metal slug for mvs, original... or so i thought, ended up being a bootleg at 60 bucks, i'll keep it as it plays the game how it should but y'know its a tad anoying to have to deal with that and try and get a refund!

enjoy the read :P

You beat Magician Lord in an Hour? It took me months to beat the 1st level.

I hear that two versions of magician lord were released/AES version is harder? or something like that...

My MVS version, every time i lose enough health and die (yes i died many many times) it just spawns me exactly where i died with the exact amount of damage i've done on a enemy/boss

therefore, i can be careless as inputting free credits allows unlimited lives and no matter what, dieing or not.. i will always be going forward in the game till the end.

Whats your version like?

A while back I bought 10 of the upgraded 111 in 1 - Series 1, to get the best price. You can set the difficulty level on these without any problem and they work with all boards and bios. I've got a few left for $80 ea. shipped within the US, if interested PM. Thanks

Hey High, does that 111-1 cart have spinmasters on it?

well after 4 weeks, my MVS 150 in 1 cart has arrived! (they didnt even send the item till 2 weeks after i bought it!)

I have a 6 slot and at first when i put it in it had a spit, wouldnt work properly, but i cleaned the contacts and fiddled around with the other cartridges in my cabinet as well and got it working great! With a 1 slot it would work like a charm first go! I think it's just my 6 slot.. but in the end it works fine!

Love all the games on the 150 in 1! all the metal slugs, KOF, samurai showdowns... obscure and fairly expensive ones like neo bomberman, neo Mr Do!, viewpoint... im loving it!

if anyone has specific questions about it i'd be happy to tell you!

I am thinking about buying one of these, but was wondering if anyone has had any issues running one on a 2-slot or with a unibios?

I have a consolized 2 slot with 23 mvs carts and the kids are getting into playing some of the Neo Geo games Turf Masters, Bowling, etc. They aren't excatally gentle and I was thing one of these carts might be a good investment.

Anyone have any experiences with the in-1 carts?

Thanks

My 108-1 wouldnt work with my 2 slot with unibios but would work in my 1 slot for some reason.

Hi,

Could you post some screenshots of the menu system? I think the 120 & 138 in 1, which seem to be made by a different company, have the nicest looking menu system (with screenshots of games etc). Does the 150 in 1 have the same menu as the 111 in 1?

What are loading times like?

Thanks!

Me too. When I chose a Game there's an Error Message from the Unibios. After Softreset the Game works fine but I can't go back to the Start Menu to choose another Game. Is it a Unibios Errror?

I can get to you on the photos of the menu, but i swear i've seen it before.. it has the names of the game on the left, has the instructions at the top right, and has a picture of terry from fatal fury in the bottom left corner -EDIT: I mean right corner

when you click on a game it does the boot up thing which is like a green flash every so and so, about 8 seconds.. then the game is on, want to change game, hold down start for 5 seconds and BAM! your back at the game list.

Thanks for that - so the 150's have the same ugly menu system as the 111's - bugger.

The 120's and 138's have a much nicer looking menu screen with screen shot previews for the selected game.

yeah it isnt a very nice looking menu, replacing terry with a screenshot of the game would have been nice, and a colourful background instead of just black. Ah well... all the games are stuck on level 8 unless i go to soft dip settings and change it, not too anoying but still it should have just been level 4 for all of them, not everyone likes difficult games

Do the 120's and 138's alphabitize the list of games as well?

I'm not sure about them but that list you have there is in the similar fashion to the 150 in 1 i got.. its not in alphabetical order, it goes through all the KOF games, then Samurai Shodown games.. then it goes all jumbled up with other games, the Metal Slugs are together, i dont get why they put metal slug 1, 2,3, X, 4, 6, along with all the hacked versions like metal slug 1+, 2+, 3+, X+, 6+ (6 is just a hack in general its not the actual Metal Slug 6 which wasnt released on Neo Geo hardware) they skipped number 5? do they think people prefer hacked versions and a 'metal slug 6' hacked game isntead of the 5 originals? i dont get it... and its anoying that 40 of the games are just KOF hacks! ridiculous!

I got a long sheet with my 150 in 1 and it has a list of all the games so you can sort of skim through that and find the game you want and then just go via the menu to the number.. alphabetical woulda been cool though

Yeah the 138 uses that extra board for the menu screen - which is the nicest of them all. It sucks a bit but isn't hard to deal with, it just connects to the jamma slot on your board and then the harness goes into it.

I can't believe you guys are moaning about ugly menus or non alphabetized games.

these boards will try to pull higher amps than your MVS board will allow, and you'll wind up toasting the cart slots. have fun.

Will that extra board cause issues with a multislot and trying to play another game?

The extra board on the 138-in-1 is a JAMMA connector. You'll need to have the correct output configuration to get it to work (i.e. the 1 slot mvs boards). If you have a multislot, you will need an additional adapter to recovert JAMMA configuration back to mvs.

Actually its more like 80 in 1 as the rest are Chinese hacks which I wouldn't touch with a stick.

Anyway all you need is a 1-Slot MV1B or MV1C as I don't think they work with older models.

Hmm, is this true for other multi carts? That would explain the problem I'm having with the 138 in 1 on my MV1T.
