I soldered in a patch wire to connect the test button pins on my 138-in-1's daughter board PCB. It works fine and I'm able to access the test menu.

This board has its own finagled setup process to change soft dip settings (within the menu frontend of the cart) without accessing the regular MVS test menu. I guess due to that it automatically blows in whatever those values are every time on bootup, deleting any changes you made when accessing the regular test menu.

Does anyone know of a simple solution to keep that from happening, like cutting a specific trace on the sub-PCB? It leaves the clock alone, but it wipes out and replaces both your cab settings and the soft dip settings. I know that removing that board and using a regular dipswitch fixes that issue, but I'd prefer to keep the ability to switch games via the menu.
