If you're interested in picking up a potentially very cheap MVS 1-slot that's a bit pickier than it should be when it comes to booting up games, check out my eBay auction at:

<a href="http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1365948160" target="_blank">http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1365948160</a>

Thanks! If there are any questions, it might be better to email me, as I'm not on these boards all that often, but I'll try to remember to check back here until the auction is over.

I believe, that the MV-1B was the Irritating Maze board, was it not? That would explain the problems.

I thought the Irritating Maze board only worked with the Irritating Maze game? If that's true, then the MVS that I'm selling isn't it. I was able to play regular MVS games with it up until I started having the problems I described in the auction.

If you have any further information though, please fill me in, as I'm not sure.

It will work with other games, and boot them, but the BIOS is coded differently, so controls do not always work right with other games.

Cehck <a href="http://www.hardmvs.com" target="_blank">http://www.hardmvs.com</a> for more info about the boards.
About the 1B, it says <a href="http://www.hardmvs.com/html/MV-1B.htm" target="_blank">http://www.hardmvs.com/html/MV-1B.htm</a>
The MV-1B is also used in the Irritating Maze kits. The BIOS may need to be swapped to work with MVS carts.

So the Irritating Maze games used that board, but not all the 1B boards were made to work with only that game. This one should be one of this.

Mike, the Irritating Maze is a MVS games designed to work with a trackball, that's why it is a bit different.
