I have been working on restoring a big red 2 slot that was given to me by a friend. This week I got the monitor up and running and the cab has a new power supply.

When I first got the cab I noticed it had a leaking battery and there had been some damage to the NEO-ZMC2 chip. Typically this would be fixed by adding wires to jump the traces but the chip is missing some of the legs.

My question to the community is if this MV2F board is fixable or should I just consider getting another 2 slot board. Link below has pictures of how the chip looks and the graphic issues it is giving me.

Any help would be appreciated and I am getting pretty excited my big red is almost fully functional.

It's tough, but you can knife away part of the plastic package and solder to what's left of the lead. If not, you might do best by sourcing a replacement ZMC2. If everything else is working, I think it's worth fixing. Those graphical issues do just look like ZMC2 issues and nothing worse.
