Weakly raises hand
Diplomatic immunity!Diplomatic Immunity - lame action thriller about a soldier out for revenge against the son of a foreign leader who killed his daughter.
I didn't know much about lead actor Bruce Boxleitner before watching this, and I don't care to know more after the fact. There's a great supporting cast that includes Billy Drago, Robert Forster, Robert DoQui, Matthias Hues, and Meg Foster, but they're all wasted in this borefest.
The biggest issue is the film has no tension. It's just flat. From start to finish. Its 90 minute run time feels a lot longer.
The score is rubbish, and the action feels like someone took inspiration from a weak episode of the A-Team and decided they could make it more edgy, but ended up doing the opposite.
Yep, even the awesome Billy Drago can't save this one.
If you've ever wanted to see a 10 year-old kid take on a small platoon of police, who have a mini-tank, with just an Uzi, then this is the film for you.
It was a very hot day, a well cooled theatre, genuinely comfortable seating and an exceptional nap. That bad?
Any of you goobs see the Mandalorian film?

Sadly my friend, on this rare occasion, this is not a euphemism.
I wonder how many spring rolls were at craft services during production. Without fami here I guess we'll never know. Thanks a lot hyphen.Definitely recommended, but if you are a Dune fan don’t expect that kind of movie. This is a very small, slow and strange film that’s not for everyone.
