I'm not so sure that "it sucks" falls under advice
He didn't say it sucks. He said they should know their audience.

And, again, given they keep making a billion dollars, it's obvious they know their audience and he doesn't.

The audience is 5 year olds, they like anything that's bright and loud. I imagine you can relate to them quite well.

Posting box-office stats and arguing incessantly about stuff that sucks regardless doesn't prove anything except that you're autistic.

lol I'm not even gonna watch the movie. STK just made a retarded comment and I pointed it out. He's essentially trying to tell Taylor Swift how to sell records. If he were saying she makes shitty music or that she should show her tits I'd agree, but she has the part about selling records down. She doesn't need help.

Each forum post takes a trillionth of a kilowatt hour. We have given too many kilowatt hours to this stupid franchise.

Did anyone put themselves through the new Quiet Place? Talk about unnecessary sequels / prequels.

I don't think I even bothered with part 2. The first one was fine, we didn't need a franchise.

Recipe for making 1 billion dollars:

1 diversion that can keep children busy for 90+ minutes during summer vacation

+

1 climate controlled environment

+

concession stand with multiple goodies for dad. Acceptable treats include, but are not limited to, popcorn, pretzels and/or slurpees

Despicable Me 4 - it’s a movie about a middle-aged man coming to terms with being a father, and also becoming unlikely friends with a young teenage girl that lives next door in a relationship wasn't creepy or inappropriate at all. I found it instantly relatable and I cried at the end.

I give it 2 moe’s up.

Spoiler:

:timid: :timid:

Despicable Moe.

You're an even bigger moron than previously demonstrated if you think the intended audience for this movie is adults, or that the kids the movie is aimed at have any money whatsoever other than Monopoly.

popularity ≠ quality
profit ≠ quality
Are you trying to hurt the Villenueve dick rider's feelings?

The intended audience is the people who keep giving them a billion dollars to make basically the same movie 6 times in a row, you dipshit.

So I guess there's no such thing as children's movies, according to this latest brain fart of yours. Come on, post more numbers, Rain Man.

Yes, the parents are all dragging the children to these movies kicking and screaming. Jesus fuck you're dense.

Kids really like these movies. So they ask their parents to take them to them, instead of other kids movies that have bombed left and right this year. Only this one and the Pixar one have actually been successful.

So, again, they're about to make another billion god damn dollars from this movie. And it's the 6th movie in the franchise. So, very obviously, they don't need any advice on knowing their audience. None of the kids are complaining, anywhere, about moe's impression of the movie's overall point. They know their audience well enough that they can release the same movie 6 times in a row and still make a billion dollars at it and have all the kids go home and ask their parents for Minions toys.

I guess unlike a lot of people here, I do think he's a good director, but I don't think the Dune movies are good beyond the general brutalist aesthetic.

Better than Lynch Doon tho

Tried to watch it but couldn't make it through. Boring and depressing. I should have known better since part 2 was also not good.

I posted once, which generated about 10 posts from xavier-mode fami. Which I then responded to once. And then once again to his whatever it was he then posted. I think I'm down all the notches I need to be. Fami is getting worked up all on his own.
That was a quote from Dinner In America dude, I wasn't being serious...

I am disappoint.

The Queen of Versailles
Documentary about a rich guy who marries a breeder bimbo shopoholic 25 years younger than him. They lose nearly all their money. The woman is eccentric and the old guy is just wishing he was dead. It's definitely worth a watch, but it feels a bit more schadenfreude than I'm usually comfortable with.

This post is litterally the first time I've ever typed the name Taylor Swift in my life.
