Mortal Kombat returning to arcades?

With a new KOF, and Street Fighter returning to the arcades, noob.com (Ed Boon's personal site) was updated on April 1st with a series of strange pictures. The story on his site about him becoming a chef, was obviously an April Fools joke. The site has been updated again, however, now with a series of numbers in the classic secret code format we've all come to expect from MK. These are those numbers:

Spelling out "WTF ARCADE". This could mean XBLA, but a next gen Mortal Kombat, on XBLA? Wouldn't make sense, so maybe this is hinting at a MK return to the arcade.

Forgive me if this has already been posted. KOF, SF4, and now this. Anyone elses hands full?

Midway doesn't have any plans to return to arcades. I know it's for next-gen consoles and not arcade.

What happened to Midway? Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't John Tobias leave Midway after MK4? Everything seems to have gone downhill from then and this game sounds about as good as SVC Chaos without supers.

I would have much rather had two seperate games, a MK and a DC game, than this. This is just, ugh. A part of me has died. I'm so pissed I want to make my own MK knock off just to show Midway I could do a better job than them. Seriously. I think I'm going to do that.
