you know sometimes I think we shouldn't give gaming people cool stuff like fpga emulation anymore
I know right, can't have a simple device do a simple thing no we've gotta make card readers and sell booster packs so you can collect cards that load individual roms. For fucks sake cunts this thing was meant to stop this collectardism!

Creators may have realized there’s less work in making collectard accessories than coding what little else is reasonably possible.

They've been running the DE-10 for a long time now, I feel like it's maxed right now. Maybe CPS3 will be the best it'll ever get.

Hey folks, get a RPI5, it does more and it plays great. You can even hook it up to a cab. Not saying don't buy a MISter, just know you're missing out on a lot of gaming that plays great with a RPI5 hookup. I'll get the MISter eventually too being that it's finally turning the corner to "cheap and readily available".

Nobody who wanted a Mister has ever heard "get a Pi instead" ever.

lol

hey, I just messed around with a friends recallbox, was pretty impressed. I dropped off the pi scene after 3. It's come a long long way.

You're right about it being maxed out. Midway Z/Y releases were only capable of being written on the pocket. (Narc, Smash TV, Mortal Kombat, T2) maybe a few others before this.

Does anybody know if the qmtech DE-10 clone is able to connect to a "Dexx" OSSC board?

I have 2 Mister setups now (one for a TV and a Mistercade) and can't figure out how to use either of them properly. Maybe it's because I didn't build them myself but this shit is ridiculously over-complicated. I just want to play games not fiddle around with hundreds of settings.

If you buy two more it will all make sense. :fedora: I need to unload these while they are still worth something.

wat. you literally flash an sd card and set a pad up, SSH in and run a script that downloads everything and keeps it up to date.

maybe over 25yrs of linux experience makes this easy, I dunno. It's pretty basic

Well, there is a video (make by yours truly) that steps you through setting up the MiSTercade at least:

"No one has said anything to us about the 'SuperSega' name"

"production will not be stopped unless Sega is prepared to cover 'cost, expenses and what consumers paid.'"

This sounds like an awesome plan that will surely work out well for everyone.
