RE: Complaining about price with these

A bunch of you are goobs and buy stuff you don't really need, myself included.
I got the analog attachment and I'm not sure I've really ever used it.
Has three buttons though that have been indispensable.
In fact a lot of the cores work even without the RAM upgrade.

A USB hub is good though for multi player and a wireless keyboard mouse is needed for using computers or advanced menu settings.
What do those cost like $25 for both? I forgot does it have a wifi/bluetooth? if not those are only a couple bucks as well.

Speaking of giant MiSTer cases, here's my Ironclad Plus setup (it ain't the prettiest, but I like the wood panel):

Does anyone else have a darksoft multi based collection of roms for the neo geo core?

I find the darksoft file format loads sometimes just fine, but usually very slowly (30-60 seconds for a typical game).

But on the other hand, I find .neo files (neosd format) load in just a second or two, no matter how big the game, and every time.

I'm considering switching my entire set over to .neo.

I recall back when I set one up, the instructions I was following specified grabbing darksoft romset for NeoGeo. A bit of an eyebrow raiser, but not enough for me to look into it further at the time (I never picked up a darksoft cart so I'm not familiar with the rom set).

The Darksoft ROM set has encryption removed on the Neo Geo games that utilizes it (ie Metal Slug X, most SNK developed games released after KOF 99).
