Mini Marquees (test results and a request)

I recently did a little test laser printing mini marquees on laser paper and on overhead transparency. Both were done at Kinkos. I found that the laser paper marquees have better contrast and definition, but when backlit, the transparencies look WAY better (even the kinda low res scans from mameworld look decent). Does anyone have any other favorite mini marquee printing techniques? Also, does anyone have original mini marquees for Last Blade 2, Samurai Shodown 4, or Shocktroopers 2? I'd like to see what high res scans of those look like.
