Hey

Hey you guys ever wonder what Trinity's actress is like in real life

She's model skinny, a vegan and is big in to "mindfulness" so the stereotype screams tired, hungry bitch with like 6 I's. That said, she could be a perfectly pleasant person who doesn't work a whole lot because she doesn't feel any strong desire to (be a mom, be a wife, have a life outside of Hollywood bullshit).

The first Matrix movie was good for sure, but it was no "Dark City".

That movie is THE SHIT.

I heard they are supposed to make a series based on it. I dont want that. Leave it alone. Its perfect on its own.

When it came out on BluRay i went to my local Best Buy to get it and they had literally gotten 2 copies in. Shameful. I love Dark City.

I havent seen Speed Racer, but I gotta say the movie didnt interest me in the least, going by the trailers.
If you track it down, go for the highest quality, bluray or up, 4k. The colors and the speed that it all happens in can only be done justice in high def.

I once rented a movie called Trixxx. it was a Matrix porn parody. It wasn't great (even for porn) and it ended after Neo (or whatever the porn equivalent was) was woken from the Trixxx.

It was still better than Reloaded/Revolutions.

Also, the original is still great and holds up, unlike the SFX from the 2nd/3rd movie. I'm interested as to how Neo is still alive (and Trinity) but Im thinking its just their consciousnessessess that were jacked into the matrix.

Also in the trailer, you can see Trinity is 'leaking' Matrix code so she's prob not real or a construct, etc.

Also, the big headed black dude from Watchmen the series has already confirmed that hes a younger version of Morpheus. I dont know how I feel about that.
Trinity is definitely still dead. The Matrix in 4 is likely only for Neo, especially given his status at the end of the third one.

I mean, just why? Kinda hope M4 bombs horribly and makes big studios think twice about similar release strategies.

I actually can not remember the plotline of the Matrix sequels and I’m pretty sure I even saw the third movie twice.

I will eventually. I actually don’t care what happened, really.

I’m sort of hoping I won’t need to know much other than the general concept of what the Matrix is when I see Matrix 4. I mean an entire generation has grown up not seeing the Matrix.

I figure for any chance of success the film needs to appeal to people who have never seen the original.

The list of good part fours is very short. There should be a sequel cut off of 5 years after the last one. Everyone looks old and it's just depressing. Indiana Jones is pushing 80. The whole thing will need Weekend at Bernies CGI.

I remember immediately after the first one came out and everyone was going gaga for it, someone on the news was saying the Matrix was this generation's Star Wars. I always get a good chuckle when I remember that.

Was there ever a good Matrix video game? I remember playing Enter the Matrix a whole lot, but it... isn't quite what I remembered.

Some say Matrix Online, never played that one though.
Enter the Matrix was super broken on PC when it came out.

Path of Neo is not bad, I played through it on PS2 and it was relatively stable.

I wonder if the Waichowskis consider Reloaded and Revolutions to be good movies.

The only thing I remember from Path of Neo on the PS2 was the seemingly next-gen bump mapping on walls... if I only remember that, then the game can't be good :lolz:

Enter the Matrix was fun at the time and even had some cool secrets hidden in it, but even back then I thought it was a poorly built buggy game, imagine playing that game today.

Was their plan always to make this trilogy I wonder? Or was it a case of the movie did so well so the studio offered a ton of cash for a franchise?

The best “matrix” game was Max Payne.

The latter. Though, it does seem like either they had a few things built into the original to pull from in hypothetical sequels, or they ret-conned some stuff. For example, the transition into the interrogation scene shows Neo through the Architect's wall of TVs.

The moral of the story is: less sequels, more new stories.

It's all about name recognition.

The Matrix is a film that didn’t need a sequel.

Leave some mystery and wonder to the reader.

Also don't expose yourself as a fluke if at all possible.

Retire undefeated like when Jerry Seinfeld refused to race again.
