Mainstream hates SvC Chaos?

i went through a period of hating this game.... it was right about the time everyone was playing chunli, akuma, geese and zero....

it was hell cheap, not much fun...

then the game recovered in the arcades and now i enjoy it again coz like a lot of other games certain characters are softbanned as are certain tricks (almost every fighting game has infinites, even cvs2).

i think this game is a valid fighter and worth some dedicated play... its not gonna happen in the us though.. ss0 might take off though with cats at shoryuken seemingly very interested in the game.

that's the problem, the dedicated people dont want to play this game due to anyone having any miniscule of skill being able to pull of a medium~high level zero playstyle due to his infinite and ownage of everything ground. and you have to remember that the srk.com and other top tourney players have direct links to players in japan(swapping strategies,combos,etc).

so it's not like the americans arent dedicated, they've just already seen how broken the game is and refuse to spend hours upon hours mastering a title that will end up exactly like tekken4 and why nobody likes it anymore(i.e...where almost every semi-finals match in the big tourneys are jin vs jin). it'll be zero v zero, zero v geese, geese v geese, etc.

i will however be purchasing the home ps2 rev as i have to do a combo video for this game, it's too broken NOT to.

Ha! Great site. Just watched the CvS2 video.. never thought to do a taunting A-Groove combo. Funny stuff, I plan on checking the other videos out when I get off from work.

Yeah, my friend Chris uses the Sakura taunt for his combo in A-Groove fairly often at UCF arcades.

i dont know about the us but here ppl have gotten over using zero and geese to win and play anyone else in an attempt to keep a good healthy competitive scene going... and its happening. like i said those 2 are softbanned seeing as everyone knows they are overpowered...

Hm, I tend not to use Zero against other players, anyway
(unless they challenge me when I'm trying to get to
