I just got magical drop 3 last week and have been playing through the challenge mode. I have gone up against a few characters that are not selectable such as a upside down hanging leperecahn. is there any way to unlock hidden characters to make them selecable?

The character you mention is The Hanging Man. I believe you do unlock them if you save your progress to a card...can anybody confirm, or does anybody know off-hand what you have to do to unlock them? Is it a difficulty level thing?

Sorry, can't recall anymore. Just keep playing the game. Eventually you will get all the chrs.
It was like a month ago? I called my brother to pay a round w/ me. He lost of course. We played until he finally won once--like in 3 hours. He's such a competitor. Maybe that's why he's a med student. Me? I just wanted to loose. My hands hurt (rarity in itself, since I am used to playing long hours), and my eyes were going out. Just to illustrate that it is one of the most addicting (my fav puzzle game) Neo Geo titles out there.

Yes the game is very addictive. Plus girls like it too! when my girlfriend comes over all she ever wants to do is play that game (and of course win). She gets very mad at the fact that i'm better than her (I some times let her win); she nearly shot me when I blew her high score out of the water.
