This isn't a typical forensic question.

Anyway, I've seen alot of auctions like these for cheap on Yahoo Japan Auctions. I assume they have to be pretty convincing boots? What are your guys take on this? I do realize all the art is repro, which seems to be much more commonplace over there then here in the US.

Boots in Japan = heads are rolling. I have never seen a boot MVS cart in Japan and the chance that this one is different is slim to none. Color copied art is very common since arcade opereators usually use art they get with the cart and then they have to rely on repro when they sell it.

That's what I thought as well, but I wondered if this was just too good to be true. For $25 + fees, I might just have to try.

Isn't that an official SNK serial number sticker on the cart? Even so, the chances of finding a boot in Japan are slim to none.

You guys were right, it's legit. Too legit to quit. :D

Now I have two of these carts though. :lolz:
