I was in the same situation as I'm that big a fan of the Mega CD catalogue but once Black Friday sales came, I finally got my self a Mega Everdrive Pro and all those sweet shmups with killer OSTs suddenly made the price feel justifiedMega Drive Pro does the same for Sega CD games, been thinking of upgrading just for that but don't know if I'd use that function enough to justify the cost. I can only play Snatcher so many times.
SSRPG was programmed from the ground up for the CD, I can't imagine making it work on MVS would be easy, almost have to start from scratch. I'd def play it on my MVS if possible though
Yes, the AES Plussers would have a heart attack seeing what Neo Geo flash carts (even MVS ones) cost.A Neo Everdrive would do well to be as budget-friendly as possible compared with the other options. A 'Pro' version that gets the NGCD support right would also be epic.
The NeoSD Pro NGCD support is so close to being good. It feels like it's just an update and a half away if someone were able to put in the effort.Agreed. As far as I know and have seen people mention (like our own resident Alec here) that its not possible, so I have no idea what these people trying to do it are on about.
Someone (possibly Evie) mentioned it could be done in "chapters." So maybe 3 "games" one with each scenario or something. No idea. Honestly at least we have Deuce's translation and we can play it on real NeoCDs or MiSTer.
I definitely had a pain in my chest.Yes, the AES Plussers would have a heart attack seeing what Neo Geo flash carts (even MVS ones) cost.
