I've always been a fan of modern reggae, but the heavier junglist sound is really drawing me in.

I've been listening to MC Stevie Hyper D's Junglist Soldier like crazy and I love it!

throw a few recommendations my way!

*Paging Spinmaster*

You rang?

I've always been a fan of modern reggae, but the heavier junglist sound is really drawing me in.

Yes my child, you've stepped into a realm of pure ecstasy. Jungle/Drum'n'bass is like no other. We welcome you with open arms.

I'll just toss out a mixture of the various styles of Jungle/Drum'n'Bass

Ragga-Jungle(and reggae influenced):

Congo Natty - Code Red
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0IthcNJE8x4

Congo Natty feat. Top Cat - Police in Helicopter
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yIN2Ybt-wWg

Splash - Babylon (Dillinja remix), one of the hardest tracks I've heard. It's not ragga jungle but it has a reggae influence.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-slzgjFyd-s

Splash - Babylon (Trace Remix). This song goes so hard. Towards the end it has those oldskool jungle basslines and it will make your speakers fuckin HUM that is if they don't blow the fuck up first.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fUeZuUKQi1Q

Baby D - I need your Lovin. This was one of my favorite tracks back in the day. It is so mainstream sounding but the ragga jungle part of the song hooked me in.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eS3WSJ1d1gM

M-Beat feat. General Levy - Incredible. The Classic Track! This song is the reason I'm the Junglist Soldier I am today. Booyaka booyaka! Junglist Massive!!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mL2Bgj-za5k

Hip Hop Influenced:

Roni Size feat. Method Man - Ghetto Celebrity
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HG7a47LbjPw

Roni Size feat. Zack De La Rocha - Centre of the Storm
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4LglhxhUpow

Roni Size and Dynamite MC - Railing Part 2
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jMfmMP1EvU0

Soft Vocal Drum'n'Bass:
Among all of the hard shit, softer stuff does exist.

Pendulum - Hold Your Colours
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qeHbKOFiRwY

Pendulum feat Jasmine Yee - Sounds of Life
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zr8u9NOjk3A

Pendulum - Still Grey
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j48GUoGW6l0

Kosheen - Hide U
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oT6qUiX5KB8

Intelligent Drum'n'Bass:

LTJ Bukem - Demon's Theme
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q6D0CX3C9dE

LTJ Bukem - Demon's Theme Part 2
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NKkWVlw1yv0

LTJ Bukem - Horizons
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rFVHjZYoq4Q

Darkstep/Techstep/Hardstep/2step/Neurofunk BASICALLY HARD MONOTONOUS EVIL DRUM'N'BASS MUSIC:

Technical Itch - Destroy. This should be the theme song for Killzone
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wT-weYE1N40

Dillinja - Grimey. This song is hard as fuck. It will make your speakers explode
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o0HRyF9q7pk

Pendulum - Masochist
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sF1rD0uB3S4

Digital - Deadline
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=STpZ-z5Q5Sw

There is much more shit I'd like to post but I gotta run somewhere. When I get back I'll drop a couple more suggestions.

thanks for the replies and music, I am working my way down that list spin and digging each one.

I've got to hop over to Toronto and check out the scene there.
btw, jimmyjames, I'm in Amherst (currently in school), like an hour away from you!

Those church videos look exactly like how DnB fans dance, which is horrible. That shit made me laugh though!

Also it would be a crime to miss out on all the glitch/breakcore stuff like Squarepusher, Shitmat, Aphex Twin, Boxcutter, Ebola and Venetian Snares etc.

Also listen to Amen Brother by the Winstons.
