However as someone who's owned like 10-12 Nintendo cabs over the years, my suggestion is just pull the joystick, strip it down and really clean it. Nintendo joysticks are kinda sloppy and loose to begin with, but originally they used like a white lithium grease on the spring and internals. Over the years it hardens and turns into like mushy play-doh. Clean all that old $hit off and they will work great.

back to the CPO and Marquee, I always recommend game on grafix if you decide to go the reprinting route.
plus, so many people rebuild DK cabs that the original CPOs and Marquees that are available are generally B grade at best.
My employer has something like 8 DK/popeye/nintendo vs/etc cabs, and most of them are...... rough to say the least
