If we aren't counting handhelds...

Nintendo:
NES
NES 2 (Top Loader)
SNES
SNES 2
N64
Game Cube
Virtual Boy (not sure if this qualifies as a 'Handheld')

Sega:
Master System
Genesis 1 (With "High Definition Graphics" printed on it)
Genesis 1 (Without the above text on it)
Genesis 2
Genesis 3
Sega CD 2
CDX
32X
Saturn
2x Dreamcast (White)
Dreamcast (Black, with "Sega Sports" printed on it)
Pioneer LaserActive with Sega Module

Atari:
2600
7800
2x Jaguar
Jaguar CD (On its way)

Sony:
Playstation
Playstation (PSOne model)
Playstation 2 (Slim model)

Microsoft:
XBox
XBox 360

Misc:
Intellivision 1
2x ColecoVision
Neo Geo AES/Home System
Panasonic 3DO FZ-1
Panasonic 3DO FZ-10

If we are counting Handhelds...

Game Boy
Game Boy Pocket
Game Boy Color
Game Boy Advance
Game Boy SP
2x Game Boy Micro
DS
Game Gear (works with TV Tuner)
Game Gear (Blue)
Nomad
Lynx 2
2x Neo Geo Pocket Color
N-Gage QD
PSP (With 1.5, woot.)

I think that's all of it.

Do things like the Power Base Converter, Super Game Boy, Super 8, E-Reader, and Game Boy Player qualify as consoles/hardware?

To those that have them, how fragile are Sega CD 1's?

I'm not the only one!!!!

Do you guys have any trouble with your LaserActive running Genesis cartridges? For some reason, mine wont run them. The Sega CD and Mega LD games run just fine, but the cartridges just give me a black screen with wavy green lines. Any ideas?

For those that have CD-i's, are there any worthwhile games for it? I've been thinking of picking one up, but I haven't seen any games that look like they would justify purchasing the system.

Also, what's the best model to look for?

You know what.. im thinkin about all the systems i own (42ish), all the games.. (1600ish).. goofy ass stuff like maracas, steelbattalion controller, fuckin ps2 ninja sword, chainsaw.. and i wonder whats the point? i never play em. they sit there and collect dust.

so what if i have a sealed panzer saga, or a mint original release of zeldas adventure.. if i dont sell em, it seems pointless..

then i dont want to sell em because i have em. does that make sence?

do i want to be a 60 year old man with a friggin power glove!?

ive come to realize im wasting my time

and why do people own multiple systems that are the same?
oh i got 7 nes systems. why?
i got a tg16 and cd rom, plus a duo.. wtf why?!

does anyone really need anything that they own?

if i was a kid growing up. all this stuff would be awesome to have..
i just turned 30, and im waiting for a ps3 that i wont play.

life is retarded.. sell everything..but i cant..
nobody is really impressed, most people see it as
a stupid. but everyone in the world has stupid crap they like..

i have a neo geo arcade system, yet i still own fatal fury 2 for snes.
thats just criminal.

i find myself trying to find games to complete a series. buying stuff, and never even playing them.. its not right..

it just seems that the more i think about it, the more it
just seems like a waste of time, space and energy.

Word

I sold a whole lot of shit in the last few years. A few thousand games at least. I was looking at my closet, that at the time had aroud 400 genesis games in it. I don't think I am ever gonna play Shaq-Fu, or Brutal paws of fury. So why not sell all that crap and buy something worth owning. I sold close to $1700 in crap like barney, and Crystals pony tale. Shit I'm never gonna play. With the money I bought a supergun, a 2 slot and quite a few MVS and Turbo grafx/duo games i'm actually gonna play. Like The last blade and Dynastic hero. I would much rather have 1 or 2 really good games than some crap i'm never gonna play and let take up space in my house. It's a pain in the ass hauling that stuff when you relocate.

I never seen the hype in collecting sealed games either. Games are made to be played, not looked at hoping some other game nerd will come to your house gawk at your collection. All that data in the Panzer dragoon saga will be corrupt in about 60 more years anyway. So you better learn to back it up in case your kids would want to play in the future anyway.

i never owned a barney game, or a barbie horse raping game.
i actually own games that i actually want to own.

i only own 2 sealed games, and each one i have a playable copy too.
the time i bought panzer saga was at toys r us for $29.99 each.
why not get 2. and whats stupid about that, is i have a playable copy, and
i never played it. my other sealed game is tengen tetris for nes.
and i have another copy to play anyway. sealed games are stupid,
and people who pay hundreds for a "sealed" game when they can
get an opened one for $5 is just assinine..

its very rare that i have a game that i dont want.
but sometimes it happens by accident.

example: i like to get the entire series of a game,
including spin-offs. i have every version of resident evil,
but that also means i have survivor 2. which no one
wants to admit. (i actually imported that thing)

all cd media games get messed up over the years anway.
like any dreamcast title. i got 90 games, and im just
waiting for them to screw up.
dreamcast games are known for the data flaking off.
i got 3d0 games that will last longer than that.
