So, I bought this MS6 conversion cab at an arcade auction a while back. Never really thought of selling it even though I knew the cart alone was worth a ton, but now I'm in need of cash. A lot of cash.

I checked the cart and the serial doesn't match the bootlegs, so I'm thinking I may have the real deal. The cab itself also has the marquee and instruction artwork. I'm thinking I'll sell them altogether while I sell the cab locally (and hopefully keep the AW board myself...) but I'm just wondering:
1) How can I be sure this is real? When I open the cart up, what should I look for?
2) About how much can I expect to get for it? If it's not much then I might not even need to bother.

Thanks.

The cab itself is a plain old dynamo. If the cab is in pretty good condition the can alone would sell for around 150-200. 80 bucks for the AW mobo. Metal Slug carts have actually gone down quite a bit from just 2 years ago. Saw a couple legit carts sell for under 250. Whereas you used to get around 350-400 if I'm not mistaken.

It's an original cart, can tell by non-boot serial but also the rounded corner on the labels. If you open it up there'l be silk-screen pcb markers from SAMMY.

I sold mine last week to a member on this board for $210. It does about half what it was doing before the boots came out.

Dang, that's a shame. I remember when I got it they were going for around $400.

Oh well, $200 is still a good chunk. Thanks guys.
