Yeah it's been though to be "it" before, and really I believe that it makes a good bit of sense, I think it's a cool idea like the rumble pack was novel at the time (like they said in the post)

I was hoping the revolution controllers were going to have screens honestly.

Nintendo was really on to something in using the GBA as an input device for games like FF:CC. Sure it was seen as a gimmick by most, but it really worked well i thought. It got a lot of needless data off the main screen and was the best way to make the rpg styled menus work in a multiplayer game. It was sort of like the VMU to the next level.

I've always hated the rumble feature on any controller. Did nothing but annoy me.

This seems like a legit rumor, but I'm still betting that someway a touchpad of sorts will be involved in the controller. I already think of Nintendo as a giant joke, but if all this "revolution" hype is all over a better rumble feature, I'm never gonna stop laughing.

I am not keen on rumbling controls either and I have sneaky feeling they can cause hand injury in some way in the future. Crazy as it sounds, you really never know.

Did you guys ever use that tilt pak made by pelican? It sounded cool, but was the biggest piece of shit ever made.

It's hardly revolutionary either is it, tilt control? I'd still rather use a d-pad or analog stick to steer a car in a racing game myself. Even built-in screens wouldn't be a new thing either. Now if it had a built-in teleporter or a device which let you turn into a motorbike like in Tron, so you could play games whilst you sped around at 200mph then that'd be revolutionary.

It's incredibly easy to do.

If you want a demo of what this feels like/does, take a hard drive, hook it up to your power supply and try to rotate it. I could see it being somewhat useful/innovative.

P.S. get a 12500 RPM Scsi drive and try it, too... ;)
