Let's see if this works. If it does, poor Mature.

I don't like seeing the smackdown put on Mature (or Vice) either, but good job on the drawing. You've got kind of a "wavy" body style going with your figures, particularly Kula, that I like. Did you do the coloring with colored pencil?

Thanks. Yeah, I need to get with it & get Photoshop.

I'm drawing a lot these days. Tracking down a possible animation studio job after 2 1/2 years of searching...

If you're comfortable using colored pencils or other media, you should stick with it - don't start photoshopping just 'cuz you think you have to in order to keep up with the times. I don't photoshop or CG anything, and I probably never will. Granted, being knowledgable in Photoshop will make you more employable in the art field.

I wish you luck finding the animation job you want.

Kula didn't take her down, Mature was already dead by the time Kula came around. ;)

Point taken on new media. Triplets of Belville is a good example.

That's a funny idea. A fighter posing in front of someone else's KO for a photo opportunity.

Sounds like something Dan would do.

I need to find a KOF2003 in L.A.- maybe I'll post a topic.

dude dont worry about a thing - it takes time with drawings-you know, i tell anyone who i come across- that figure life drawing does wonders to help if you are having fustrations with drawing "people" as for colour use a mixed media eg: paint, pencil crayon, pastels and markers to experiment with different materials- keep up the good work and dont give up on your dreams.

Thanks. It's funny how much attention Mai gets in the mainsteam. These two characters are so much more interesting visually and what little of a personality can be shown in a fighter.

A KOF RPG or adventure game would rock- so many stylish characters. :spock:
