Yeah. According to a post on the same topic I brought up at that board, the current plan for KOF XI is for a late September release at a $14.99 price tag.

God damn. At that price, the people buying it are practically stealing it.

stealing it? a game looking as fucked up as that shouldnt even be released for the ps2 or xb for all the US market cares. for $15 its managable, cause unlike us 2d nerds most wont find it interresting and fugly as hell. kofxii will be different though, just as how sf3ts was worth it. maybe its acceptable in japan, but in most places 20 year old sprites aint appreciated. some people couldnt even believe kofxi was for the ps2 when they saw me playing it. at least they didnt make them strange faces ar sf3ts, as it still looks managable for an almost 10 year old game.

rather see XII.
I thought this thread was about XII the first time I saw it in the board index. It said "KOF XI finally hitting..." It seemed like they meant "XII" ...hitting arcades. XI is old news.

Awesome another piece of shit game added.

Worst sprites ever. It's like they spent a jillion hours on the BGs and about 2 minutes on sprites.

awesome as it was at competitive level. The most played game according to Dark Geese (or the one where Americans are more decent at) was NGBC. Hopefully with Dark Geese making mini tourneys in evo and small tourneys around the country, I could really see this game selling a lot. Or at least more than a few past SNK titles

It's because SCEA is making them release these games at budget price for them to pass their approval process.

And for that, they have my thanks.

BTW, maybe it is just me, but with the release of Metal Slug Antology and the inpending release of AOF:Antology for the Wii, aren't KOF XI and NGBC closser to the Wii than we think they are???

An additional bit of info. The SNK USA message board now has boards for both newly announced games, and it indicates NGBC will hit here in October.

I thought the sprites were all right, Yuki and Ai were kind of eh, but the rest of the fighters were pretty decent.

This is pretty awesome. Hopefully they'll fix the loading times like with the Dutch version.

I haven't played NGBC yet, but I will definitely pick it up regardless. Mainly because of the low price. I'm unsure of most people's feelings on this game though. I hear that it's better than Capcom Fighting Evolution, but still not one of the greatest games?

I haven't played the game myself, but I heard it was a better game overall than Capcom fighting Jam. The sprites for just about every fighter were readjusted in some way, and the cast is pretty decent.

Shit, that makes CFE almost as "good" as "Bloodstorm".
