Why does the Young Geese Howard look so much like Andy Bogard. I Thought he was Andy for a bit, but taking after Geese or something.

Young Geese/Andy is pretty cool. But I have no idea what's going on, why do they look so similar. Long Hair etc?

BTW what is the Howard Family Connection the Bogards again especially Andy? Aside from the whole Rock/Terry/Geese out the window thing.

Also I read for the Atomiswave you can actually unlock Geese. How Do I go about doing this?

BTW I'm enjoying Neowave greatly! :D

Geese killed Andy, and Terry's father.

Andy Bogard is not evil and Young Geese is the boss, but it's his AOF2 look, hence the younger appearance.

And Geese killed Terry and Andy's father, Jeff (who was a top-ranked fighter.)

Hence the grudge / hatred.

How does Neowave Explain AOF2 Young Geese/ Not being dead?

Some sort of time travel I suppose?

Also why does Andy look so much like Geese? Blame Falcoon?

Why does Geese appear younger in AOF2, was it suppose to take place years before FF1?

I still say that Jeff Howard adopted Terry and Andy, and Geese is their real father.

...hey, it would explain why Andy looks so much like Geese, right?

NeoWave is a Dream Match, so I don't think they offer an explanation as to why Young Geese is in the game, since it doesn't really matter.

Just take him as a cool bonus, that's all.

And yes, AOF2 takes place several years (around 10 or so) before FF1.

Neowave is a Dream Match just like 98 or 02; do you question why dead characters come back in those installments of the series as well?

And Falcoon didn't do the illustrations for this game, Tomokazu Nakano did.

How close is the first FF OVA to the game's story? I know that the OVA, and the game have two different ways that Geese is defeated.

Far as I remember, it's close enough.

Then again, I haven't watched my FF OVA tapes or played through any of the early FF games in quite a while, so I can't give specifics.

Thanks for the info. I dunno, I guess It's just weird for me to see Geese. And I want a big delicious storyline, but I guess there isn't much explanation. It just Is.

Endless is pretty fun, Itll probably take me awhile to beat it.

I beat 46 chara, then Rugal took me out. Cheap fuck. (Seems good enough... Geese now Playable!:buttrock: )

The Orochi characters are funny/cool.

does it look like a heavily pixelated mess?

Looks just like all the other 2D KOF's with 3D backrounds on the PS2. 00, 01,02,03 94 rebout etc.

There is a weird "blurring" option (1-6 levels to choose) in the menus, but it looks stupid, I kept it sharp, the way I felt it should be.

Looks a bit strange (as usual). But the gameplay is tight, it plays alot like KOF2002, and that's a good thing. + GEESE.

Yeah, Neowave is a "dream match" game, meaning it has absolutely no storyline whatsoever. The characters don't even have win quotes this time around...LAY-ZEE!

The only thing that gets to me a little is that Terry (and Andy too I guess) says nothing to Geese when you play against him. They should have thrown in the old "Geesu!!" line from FF3/RBFF/KOF '96.

I'm still missing Omega Rugal; every time I play Endless mode I get to the 40+ area and either lose to Rugal or right before him. :/

BTW, Geese, Kim, Vanessa, and Ramon are all available from the start. I got Angel and May Lee by beating the game once, and the rest come from Endless mode.

No, and with the filtering options they went with, Neowave has the best-looking sprites after KOF '94 Rebout. The colors are sharper too. I reccomend using filter 2 for the sprites. The 3D backgrounds, while a bit empty at times, are also the best ones seen in a KOF yet. They look much more detailed compared to the other games, although I do still like some of the stages in KOF 2003 a little better.

That's one of my beefs with 02, it just felt like it lost some of its soul.
