-Fatal Fury Team: After the NESTS Space base is destroyed, all of the members return to their normal life. Joe returns to Thailand to help an old friend, Mai and Andy are going out on a date. Then, we see Mary primping herself up. At the end, her and Terry go out on a date.
*Side note: In the storyline, Terry and Andy already began the training of Rock and Hokutomaru, so we’ll expect a Garou Mark of the Wolves Team some time in the future.
-Japan Team: After the NESTS Space base is destroyed, Shingo wants to celebrate. However, his teammates ignore him. Goro and Benimaru leaves and Kyo gives Shingo a bit of advice, “Get a Life!” and leaves. This leaves Shingo depressed, until some offers to train him…can you guess who? It’s Saisyu!!!
-Side note: Saisyu offers to train Shingo, is 2K2 is the time Shingo will gain some “Fire” power?
*The Hero Team: After the NESTS Space base is destroyed, Lin ponders if Long survived the explosion. It is revealed Whip is a clone. Maxima leaves to visit and old friend (could it be Rocky?). At the end, Heidern is sent a picture of Whip and Kula having ice cream.
-Side note: Long could be the next boss in the series. Whip is a goddamn clone, then who is she a clone of then? It seems Kula will join the Hero Team next year.
*The Ikari Team: After the NESTS Space base is destroyed, the team camps out talking about Heidern. Then, Leona joins them and shows them a letter. It was the letter Whip sent to Heidern.
-Side note: Do they even know she is a clone?
*The Psycho Soldiers Team: After the NESTS Space base is destroyed, Athena wonders if Kensou, as he carried Bao on his back, did gain any powers from Bao. Kensou said it’s gradually growing within him. As for Bao, he said that his “brother” didn’t gain power from him, but from another source, “The Dragon Spirit.” Suddenly, Bao’s eyes begin to glow a purple hue. Somewhere else, Long watches the Psycho Soldiers. His eyes glow a red hue like it’s reacting to Bao. Long then says, “Compared to the Dragon Spirit, NESTS is nothing.” Then, a Dragon appears behind Long.
-Side note: One of my favorite endings, could it be that a new saga is made, the Dragon Spirit saga? Or maybe not. But, I was expecting Bao to do something freakishly cool in 2k1 and this fits the bill. Based on what Bao said, Kensou possibly gained new powers, “Dragon Spirit.” So, this could mean Kensou and Bao will be the coolest characters next year, I hope.
*Yagami Team 2001: After the NESTS Space base is destroyed, Seth says that Iori was indispensable. Iori implies to Seth that “you want to challenge me?” His hand explodes with purple flame and says, “You’re all going in body bags!”
-Side note: Well, like his other teammates, Yagami ends of beating up or worst to his teammates. Does this mean Yagami will become an edit character again? RIP Seth, Vanessa, and Ramon.
*Art of Fighting Team: After the NESTS Space base is destroyed, Robert thanks the Sakazaki’s for the help. Then, Takuma tells Robert that they are taking the money. Robert gets agitated and does Hien Ryuujin Kyaku on all three Sakazaki members and calls them “The Kooky Kyokugen Family.”
-Side note: That’s Iori’s job to beat up teammates. Takuma is more senile, as well as stingy. AOF always get the joke endings.
*Female Team 2001: After the NESTS Space base is destroyed, Xiangfei ask if they could get some dim sum. King remembers in 99, so she asks Xiangfei if she has money because King doesn’t want to wash dishes again. Xiangfei says that they have the rich Hinako and so Hinako says she has the bill, so Mai and King are cool with it. Once again, Xiangfei overeats again. Hinako says, “So whose paying?” Mai and King become upset.
-Side note: You guys would expect much when it comes to Xiangfei’s e.
*The Korean Team: After the NESTS Space base is destroyed, the team is celebrated as the heroes that defeated NESTS. The team is paraded in a limousine (how can Chang fit in there?), then Jhun (in a sling) meets up with his team to congratulates them. Kim thanks Jhun for not being in the KoF with them. Kim and Jhun butt heads and begin to pummel each other. Chang and Choi agree that the real reason for the Korean Team winning the KoF is because of Mei-Li.
-Side note: Mei-Li is a true “Super Girl.” This is the funniest and most favorite ending in the game. This is the first time nothing bad happened to Choi and Chang, this time around Kim and Jhun went at it, totally cool.
