or lithy does the smallest bit of 'rom hacking' with plenty of help.

Knight's Chance does not cycle between slots when left unattended in attract mode. If the select game button is pressed it does change slots, but without any player input it repeats its own attract mode.

You can see Jeff Kurtz's post here when some of the initial buyers asked about this feature.


The fix I landed on is just a change to a single instruction, but I decided to make a patch file since that was something new to me to try. This seems to be working correctly for me using Flips v1.31 patcher.

If anyone would like to test it, I was able to run it on my Backbit cart and then leave it in attract mode once loaded and seemed to be working correctly. I played around on all of the 4 minigames through to game over and have not noticed any issues. But if you get a chance to test it, even if you want to test the game on a single slot for bugs if not for the slot selection fix just let me know if you notice any problems.
