Just how the heck do you beat v2 Rugal in KOF'94?

I know this should've been in the Gameplay board, but seeing as you get more visitors here...

Ok I've been just started playing KOF'94 for the first time recently, putting the game on difficulty level 8. Using the FF Team, I've managed to get to the boss Rugal. Most of the time I can beat his 1st form by jumping over and throwing, but his 2nd form...jeez is hard as hell. I really can't figure out a way to beat him. His Genocide Cutter is just too lethal. So can anyone give me any strategies/methods to beat this guy? Cause I'm finding him dead hard...Goenitz, Orochi, Zero, etc. simply can't compare to this guy...any help will be appreciated!

Want a really cheap solution? A ducking D, and good timing. Personally, I've been at it (fighting Neo bosses, that is)since Fatal Fury one, and after years of combat, Rugal STILL isn't a pushover! Well, good luck!

Rugal's not that big a threat in KOF 94 (At least, not to me.). Here's what I do...

on his second form, I usually turtle; within reason. Try walking backwards and if he follows, wait until he's 1/2 a character in front of you and throw him. If he stands his ground and fireballs you to death, just dodge the projectiles and try charging your meter. Eventually, Rugal will start charging his POW meter. Hit him with anything you want. 9 times out of 10, Rugal won't stop charging to counter attack. If you manage to inflict some damage on him, be sure to taunt from a distance so you can drain his POW meter (Jam on the C button rapidly to drain the POW meter faster; but be careful with characters like Ralf, Joe, and Clark.). This will make it easier to nail Rugal if he tries charging his POW meter again since it'll take longer the least energy he's accumilated. Lastly, Athena can reflect his Reppu Kens; but don't waste you time with the Kaizer Wave. You'll lose big (Funny how a Haoh Sho Koh Ken can nulify the Kaiser Wave and Athena can reflect those.).

duck and foot sweep him , again and again ,but stand up so he thinks your not going to foot sweep him , then duck real fast abd kick him , again again , its the cheap way i know but it works
