so im making another joystick but this time i dont want it to suck ass, i want to do everything right.

first, what are the best bolts to use to mount the joystick? i assume some kind of carriage bolt (8-32 or 10-24 right?) what size drill bit is that?

also where can i get the bit for making the groove for t-molding?

I believe and I could be wrong, but do to the t-molding, you would need a router/table and the appropriate bit to do so. Just my opinion but hey I'm only a carpenter!

All you need is a straight shank bit, you get from home depot/lowes wherever. you could get a rip fence for your router if its not a P.O.S. I'm not sure what size bit you would need though would depend on the t-molding I suppose.
