The first Joe & Mac on the SNES holds a special place in my heart. Used to rent it a few times when I was around 6 or 7. Didn't buy it until I was a pre-teen and found out what the name of the game was. Such a great game, and unfortunately the only game in the entire series that I like.

Much respect to the developer for keeping an old Data East classic alive. I have no intention to play it, and the art style is too cell phone game-ey, but respect to them nonetheless.

Actual sprite animation is hard I guess.

Microids is the same publisher as the Toki remake. Their About Us webpage makes it sound like there's a lot of staff overlap with Mr Nuts Studio (dev for Joe and Mac remake). So if you've played the Toki remake I'd expect the same here.
