jockey grand prix

anyone know anything about a game called jockey grand prix? there isnt much info about it around. it is a rarity, if the price guide is any indication. i know that it is a horse betting game where it gives you coins back in a special machine. does it work on any mvs set up? if it cant give you coins, does it keep score? anyone got screenshots? is it so goddamn rare that it warrants the 500 bucks the price guide has it listed for?

I have a copy of this game with interface cable and instructions in what appears to be original box. Bought for $30 US off Ebay. The seller has listed another. I have plugged it in and it did not boot up. I imagine it is designed for a dedidcated neo geo setup. Not as in my case which has a 4 slot board and no coin dispenser hooked up to the interface cable.

Don't pay $500 for this unless you are completely mad.

It's a dumb betting game that will never earn you money nor get you your $500 back that you spend on it. I think theey pulled that figure out of their hat!

There is no "gameplay" as such, you just place bets & watch yout horse race round, like those old horse racing cabs you used to get at the fair, very common now too, after every 1 found out how bad it was.
