Japanese neo-geo pocket games with wrist strap??

Does anyone know what the wrist strap is in this jap game? I see a lot of jap games have a space for something in the plastic box insert. Anyone have more info about it?

It's just a wrist strap. There's a space to attach one on the NGPC. Same with most handhelds.

Comes in handy, also. I’ve never dropped my NGPC on the ground...even tho it has slipped out of my grip many times.

Did all jap games come with them? I am looking for one if anyone has a new one to sell.

I have never seen that before and don't think it came with the game. I would guess that strap is from some other item and was wrongly paired with that game. As far as I know that space in the tray was typically used to contain an adapter piece for the wireless link unit.

I skimmed eBay and yeah, I don't see these included in any complete listings.
