I thought the jammacast also converted the 31hz video signal to a 15hz...

Gee thanks Jonny :drool_2:

Hit me up with a PM Tonk I am getting parts together to make some again.

The quality of Aluisi's work is incredible. The kick harness port is a nice touch.

Asher could probably build you one with just the control ports since you can run it in hires with a VGA box. Hacking the pads is the hardest part.

you would be better off buying agetec PCBs from people who have modded them for other systems. i just bought one off a guy from SRK for $15. they have headers for the buttons and stick.

Tonk, prosper1ne had both of the things you would need a few days ago as I was chatting with him about a deal for them. You are welcome to contact him to see if he still has them as I beleive I am going to wait on them. He had the control panel hacks and the vga box.

This thread got me thinking and i started messing with my dreamcast last night. I got the pads hacked already but the video is giving me a problem. I have the vga box and i cut the 6th wire on the vga boxes mobo (its a white wire i cut so it will output 15hz). Anyways my jamma cabinet already has a JPAC in it from where i run mame on it so i just plugged the dreamcast vga box staight to it and tried it. The picture is good but for whatever reason i get a split screen effect, so i have two of the same picture side by side...Anybody have any ideas.

Yea sorry Asher, just figured if mike could hack two pads real quick he'd be set.

Also, mike doesn't need to downscale to 15 since he's running a blast city with a newer tri-sync monitor in it. With a VGA hookup and 31khz, the simple solution would be pad
hacks ( which Asher cab do too)

Lol smartass responses.

I could also use this for my Super Neo 29, if you will be building some.

Could actually use one for a DC and Saturn...

ive started making ones specialized for older 15khz cabs:

i used to be a proud owner of the jammacast back in the day, however the feedback from the unit was too much. I ended up coming up with my own design that worked out well... especially for 360

I wanted a unit that was just treated like a CPS2/3 board~
