I have played kof 2000 7 times all the way through now on level 4 without any continues and each time i have beaten zero on the first attempt
unlike Rugal who in kof 95 and 98 is a tough mother to beat, infact i would say zero is as weak a boss as any i have seen in any game,
anyone agree or think otherwise?

i will try again on level 8,maybe then though i might not even get as far as zero

neogml. its not as bad as i first thought but i still hate the backgrounds!the small handfull that there are.

Actually what i do to make bosses harder in kof is to set the diffculty to level 8 and try to beat the game(including boss) with just one character. Thats a good way of practcing to.(hey as a matter a fact its the only practice i do get...no one will play kof with me.... ....sniffle) Though its quite hard to do in 98...just hard in 99.

No I dont use them on mark of the wolves, only used them both once each to see their endings and thats all,i do however use Terry and Rock.

I use to use Kim in fatal fury 2 alot,i love how easy his super is to pull of and the way he slaps you with his feet on your head
.
However in fatal fury 2 i am a master with Andy,I completed that game with him on level 8 without continues with many perfects and i actually came within just 50.00 points of finishing that game with a million score.with anyone else i finish it with about 400.000, the perfects against krauser and axel just build up your score.I use his shoulder rush move, once you get krauser down with that he cant block.
However i am not to good with Andy in fatal fury special as there is a second delay before you can pull of his shoulder rush which is a big handicap,i think i am babbling,i love reminicing about the past
saying that i am still to beat neo dio in world heroes 2,i guess i am lame at that game

Don't worry dude....bablings cool...all the old games are ussaly better anyway....my favorite fighting game of all time is still street fighter 2....I have found memories of playing at the arcade and such......of course you grow up though and realaize you have to get a job and stuff.(actually iv'e still yet to realize that....I realy should work more.)I miss all the old things. I remember when like little ceasers was actually a place you could hang out and play video games.(it was wierd i remember you could eat pizza and then like they had a built in arcade really cool....I used to always go play final fight there....) I also miss when toy's r'us used to be cool going there to just look at all the crap...good times...I also remember the first time i saw samuri showdown.....I was like"whoa the guys are so big!!!!!....no wait a sec now there getting smaller........that is the coolest thing i have ever seen....." And then like whoa there are 4 games in one!! Sweet.

Hehe talking of streetfighter 2,i sold my genesis so i could get a super nes when that game came out on it,at the time it was way cool.me and my friend took turns each to fight the oponents till we beat it as i only had the one controller
i remember one night playing it on the hardest level to see if i could beat it.it took me about 7 hours,no word of a lie and i passed the 99 credits too, i think i lost to blanka about 40 times in arow, needed to pee but couldnt stop playing till i beat it
i was so happy when vega or m bison considering what version you had ,fell to his defeat,it was then i rewared myself with the honor of a great gamesplayer...lol

As a matter a fact a lot of guys could do that....cheap shit i tell ya....remember how a like say jump roundhouse, ducking meduim kick, fireball was like half power and a dizzy???....good old days.

Yes, he's as lame as they come. Bland design, crappy BG, crappy music, and GAPING FRIGGIN HOLES in his AI!!

Here's a way to score perfects on Zero (never tried this above level 6, but go ahead and tell me I'm wrong)

Using Ralf or Clark (or any other character with an easy unblockable command throw)...

1- Jump in (do nothing during the jump or he'll anti-air you)

2- Catch him with a backbreaker.

3- Repeat until he's dead.

What a crock. You don't even need to use strikers on him.

Once again, maybe he does it to you, but to me this never fails unless he pulls off a move right before I jump.

Level 1?!?!? Excuse me for a moment... *goes to the corner* AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *comes back* Anyways, Level 1?!?!?!? The computer doesn't even do shit in lv 1, they just stand there and wait to get hit... Well, as a matter of fact, sometimes they do that in lv 8 too!!!!! Tho I must admit beating though all the teams with just one character and without losing in lv 8, is quite a challenge... Especially in '96 where you have to beat all the characters, and in '98 Survivor Mode... He, all of a sudden I remember King's music from '96, weird, it's not even my favorite song from the game... Perhaps because it's the catchiest one... He,He...

Heres the deal, when i first get a game,i want to see all the endings so i play it on level 1,then once i am satisified i go to level 4 and play,i defo aint a lamer though as i have completed shodown 2 with earthquake on level 8 with no continues, endings pretty cool with all the character designs and there poses popping up and ff2 with Andy as i said in an earlier post
sometimes though i dont need a struggle, just like to kick some butt, some gamesd however are even tough on level 1 such as world heroes 2,only neo dio though
and dont get me started on savage reign

If it weren't for Wyler, I'd say Zero was the lamest SNK boss ever period. Then again Wyler does give me a harder time than Zero ever will; no matter what level I set KOF 2000 to.

man!!!...geez...I gotta say thats ....ummm...quite impressive. I mean i could beat it with iroi but not countinueing once...gezz you get props for that.

Although one thing you didn't do the fireball AI glitch did you?? That would be cheating. Where you just do fireballs and the cpu does nothing but block the whole time.

But other wise thats very good.

I actullay find omega rugal pretty easy to beat.....i think(but not sure its been awhile)that you could just roll when ever he did his fireball(dark barrior?)then he would go for a small jump roundhouse and i would oniyaki him. Then once i get some supers i would just do the maden masher on him when ever he started the fireball. Its just tuff to beat all the teams thats what im impressed about. Ussally i can make it about 3-4 teams through with kyo, iroi,or kim but then i'd have to countinue.

Orochi is too great as a lame boss. The lamest boss in my opinion is KOF99 Klizald. I never seen a boss who moves and fights awful. Um..why did he have to do a kick so high and slow. His projectice isn't not a thing to fear. He just wanted to play mind games ,but I show him how it's done with you play mind games. LOL, he can't even do counter tricks with my tricky version of Ryo's flying hand chop.

Actually, ya boy from earlier had the best point: Wyler is the most terrible boss I've ever faced! Story wise (he had to take a drug just to fight) AND gameplay wise. I'm glad Robert wiped the floor with him! Now, if he can just get the Garcia Foundation out of bankruptcy in 2001...
