Is Voldo in Soul Calibur 2??!?

I was having a conversation with a friend tonight about Soul Calibur 2, and the question arose as to whether or not Voldo is in it.

"Yeah, he's in it." was my response.

Or is he?

I could have sworn I saw a picture with him on it, I'm pretty positive he was hanging out on the logo image on IGN's preview page for the game... But now he's not there anymore <IMG SRC="smilies/frown.gif" border="0">

If they cut him I'm going to be so fuckin' pissed.

I wouldn't be really upset if any of the new characters looked half as interesting as him, but alas, they don't.... I mean, the game still looks awesome, there's no way I'm not gonna buy it.... But I just can't imagine Soul Calibur without my Voldo.... <IMG SRC="smilies/frown.gif" border="0">

IF they took him out they better at least put Voldo's bad-assed half brother in, or something.... Because all the new characters look the same... Voldo was the savior of the first game... All those asian chicks with swords, dorks with sticks.... But then there was Voldo, a bondage freak with two wicked hand knife contraptions named Blame and Shame... So fucking cool... <IMG SRC="smilies/smirk.gif" border="0"> He really made that game for me, and I can't imagine the second game without him.......

Of all the fighters,Voldo has the most animation,some unorthodox moves which are deadly.I heard that the returning cast from SC1 will be in it alongside some new fighters.So,there is a good chance that voldo will be in it.I like Nightmare's soul edge sword in SC2.It has more detail and texture than the 1st game.

Yeah, he really was by far the coolest character in the first game... I don't see why they'd cut him. <IMG SRC="smilies/frown.gif" border="0">

But the thing is, there's like 100 images over at IGN... I'm pretty sure that's the most any site has right now. Voldo is not to be seen in a single one of them. Actually, I've only looked at a few, and a bunch of them you need to be a shitty "IGNinsider" to view, but not a single one has even a mention of him in the description. He's not in that preview video, or anything...

Oh well, I'm just going to assume that he's just not completed yet. The game's only 30% done, right? Maybe they're completely revamping him or something...
