I had a great time with Virtual Pool 64 on the old N64 and was wondering if there's anything similar on present consoles. I also thought that Monkey Billiards was the best feature of SMB.

I do but it can get taxing on the wallet. The games are a good oppertunity to goof around and for noobs like me to get familiar with the physics of the game. I can also get the rules for the many variations of billiards.

That's Akakage, some dude from an old Japanese TV show. I stumbled on this website while looking for a new sig. The old one died.

Pool Paradise gets my vote. I paid $20 for the Gamecube version when it first released, and it's pretty decent. Interesting tables and a decent career mode, but you'll have to tolerate the weird disembodied hands that you play against.
