I don't think thats really a good idea. When I see a new forum that won't show me whats posted, I do just the opposite and don't sign up. Usually they are just trying to hide the fact that their message board is really lame. In reference to the market section, I don't think that should be hidden either, the market section is what makes a lot of folks sign up, thats why I joined. Granted not all those who do are good buyers/sellers/traders.

Fourthed. if anyone wants to buy shit they see in the selling threads then they will join. i'm sure a lot of people wouldn't be members here had they not been able to review selling threads first. i never would have joined atleast.

if people had to join just to view the war room, and actually would do that, then they would read and post in it. most likely stupid shit that everyone would just flame them for until they left like Debbie did.
