Is it easy to add a memory card reader for my 4-slot?

I’d like to keep my progress when I play games like 2020 super baseball but I need a memory card and yeah that’s why I’m posting this thread.

I didn’t have much luck doing a search on Google so thought I would ask the vets over here.

Do I just need to find a reader online and connect a few wires and be done?

I have a neo 29 and there’s no built-in memory cards slot so I’ll probably mount it on the inside or just leave it hanging loose or something.

Yes, but for your use case there are virtual memory cards that plug into the serial connections so you won't have to deal with the (frankly stupidly huge) two cables that connect the MV-IC board.
