I haven't been able to find many AES cartridge label/sticker scans.

I really only need them to be 150dpi since they will be printed so tiny.

I'm looking for mostly the original line-up of games from 1990-'91 and non-fighters.
Top Player's Golf, Nam-1975, Magician Lord, Riding Hero, Super Spy, Baseball Stars 1, 2, Cyber-Lip, etc..

Here's the actual size scan of the label (dimensions saved in Photoshop) .57" x .53"

And the carts shown here:

Any help would be appreciated. :glee:

Wow. Those are so cool. I'd love to pick up a mini Saturn and Dreamcast (who am I kidding, all the Sega stuff).

I had been watching this auction on eBay but never put in a bid: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Metal-Slug-...193?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3a7fa43191

$15 shipped isn't bad for that kit.

That seems cheap. I wonder if they come with the mini MS carts.

"NeoGeo Metal Slug Set of 5 Mechanical Kit Figure Collection Archive by Takara Tomy. The set includes: Super Vehicle 1 and 2, Slug Flyer, Camel Slug, and 4 characters from the game."

It doesn't say in the description, but shows them so I assume so. Not a bad deal.

Seller is from China. Can't really tell if it's genuine or knockoff.

They're real. These things are dirt cheap in Asia.
As they are capsule toys, they are given away in vending machines.

I had a chance to buy a large order of SR History capsules at cost and they were something like $.40 ea USD.
So at $10 they are still making decent money on them.

Nah. I just want my favorites. I ordered 16 extra AES mini shells so that will be plenty.
I guess I would most like to have these:

Yeah, but they are cool as hell. :)

If you check around eBay you can find just the Neo-Geo AES + 1 joystick and a memory card Gashapon for $7.99
So tiny and so much detail.

The other SR mini's are equally as cool and are some are really hard to find.

Yes. Wait, can mice even play games?

Collecting mini's is the future and Teh Future is Now.

But seriously, I own all the full sized stuff and have no more room so these work out well.

Goddamn, those sega mini systems are expensive. There's only a handful on ebay and one mini system sells for $40-$60. I found a bundle that had them all and they wanted 123 usd.

Spoonman- Can you reveal where you got the aes ones so cheap?

eBay Link Neo-Geo AES + 1 joystick and a memory card Gashapon for $7.99

If you meant the older SR History capsules, that was years ago and the vendor is no longer around.

I just picked one up from the link supplied above... but... I'm interested in more of these now. I can't seem to find them on ebay. What is the best wording to use to find other consoles?

[edit]
That said... I think someone needs to remake the cartridges for the AES using 3D printing so that more carts can be made.

I normally search for either Yujin or Gashapon.
They are sometimes posted as console mini's.

I really want toe Game Boy History set, but they sold out right away and I can't seem to find them anywhere.
I just found out recently that the Game Boy Light model even glows in the dark. You can't beat stuff like that!

Any other leads for official AES sticker scans on the above mentioned games?

I think you're just gonna have to get a blow dryer and peel off some stickers, slap them on wax paper and shove 'em into a scanner.

Hehe.. Not likely.

I'd take some pics and fix them in PS before removing original labels from my collection.
It's for 1" carts so they don't really have to be perfect anyway.

The hard part would be filling in the curve between the two sides of the label. Unlike most cartridges, that curve is really long on Neo Geo. Otherwise, yeah just scan the tops and fronts of the carts.
