Let me know if you do another buy of the switches (or if anyone bows out of this one). I have a cruddy little 3 switch and just added a fourth SCART-capable machine.

Look what arrived a day early:

photo.JPG

Each of the large boxes contain 10 switches and the small one on top has 2. Total of 42.

Starting later tonight I will start contacting folks for shipping payments. I am still waiting on Scart cables and hope those show up in the next day or two for those folks wanting cables.

Also, I can tell you from shipping the couple that I have already sent out, it will be much cheaper to ship them without the original packaging. It adds extra weight and un-necessary size to the shipping box.

Couple Updates!

1. Scart cables shipped earlier this week, however it looks like they won't be here till Monday at the earliest. They were suppose to be delivered today, but according to the UPS tracking number a weather issue delayed them. Also, I ordered 20 of them but 10 are already spoken for. I still need to contact about 5 or 6 users in this thread that posted interested in them.

2. To save on shipping costs, I am emailing folks asking if they want the switches to be shipped with their original retail boxes or not. The boxes are kinda large and add an extra expense to shipping. But I will leave that up to the individuals. If you haven't already indicated one way or the other, feel free to PM me or post in this thread. For those buying multiple switches, I highly recommend shipping them without the original boxes. Should save quite a bit of $$.

While the eagle on the box is cool I think I'll save a couple bucks if it's cheaper to ship without. Besides it's not like it's a collector item. If there's any documentation I'll take that.

What's packing like on the inside of the box, styrofoam or cardboard?

Cool, just the switch then. I didn't receive a PM from you but I was guessing you were going down the list and I'm near the end.

I'm not sure if I'm on your cable list or not, but I'll need one too.

I'm cool with shipping my switches without the original boxes. I would just chuck them anyway.

Just a friendly reminder for all my US buddies...

If you're getting SCART cables, make sure you're looking for thick "screened" cables.

Getting low quality scarts will make the picture to have momentary contrast issues like getting colder or warmer
color display ( like flashing ).

All that undesired problem is solved by getting a decent scart.
You really want a good one here.

Sorry Todd my mailbox was full yesterday so I didn't get your pm. You can put me down for a cable, and you can ship without the box for me as well. Just let me know the total for cable and shipping. Thanks again

Got you down for the last cable!

That's all the cables folks. I'll probably be doing another group buy on Scart switches and cables (if we like these cables) in about 4 to 5 weeks. Plus a SNES Scart cable group buy!

Anyways, there are a couple more folks I need to pm. And those without cables will get shipping totals from me this weekend.

broken, if you do a SCART SNES buy I am definitely in :) Was thinking of picking one up from retrogaming cables but may just hold off for the group buy.

Nice! I'm curious as to how you guys like these switches. I have a couple Hamas and they work pretty good. There's no interference between signals, but they add a slight yellowing to the video. I'd like to try another kind, maybe this model will be it.
