If anyone drops out or doesn't pay by chance I'd happily buy 2 and can pay right away, thanks in advance.

Update!

Payment was just submitted to the seller for the switches.

I expect to hear back from him on monday with shipping/tracking details.

Also, I purchased a couple extra units as I am sure some other folks might want some.

Payment of $1,207.42 USD (approx. 700 UK pounds) for a total of 42 switches. Still averages out to just a bit of $28 per unit plus paypal conversion fees.

Next: I will work on scart cables as mentioned a couple posts earlier. I will probably order 20 of those.

I have a stupid question for my fellow Americans... to what are you connecting these RGB SCART cables?!? I cannot find an RGB SCART TV/Monitor anywhere locally. I've been looking on my local Craigslist every day for weeks, but living in Austin, TX, it's unlikely I'll ever find one. Are you all using an RGB SCART to HDMI converter?

In the US, we're either using commercial rgb monitors or rgb to component or hdmi converters.

If anyone involved in the group buy needs a male scart to bnc adapter, I can offer the parts to DIY-ers at $12.50 shipped or will build one for $25 shipped.

(This offer is broken-approved :D )

Well I personally am using an arcade monitor that has a d-sub 9 RGB input on the back so I had a custom cable made that allows me to use Scart cables on it. I know alot of other guys here who get PVM's (professional video monitors) that have RGB inputs on them.

I want to use an RGB-HDMI upscaler to connect these to my HDTV. It will make life easier and be a somewhat ghetto XRGB for me (I can live without scanlines for now)

Update:

Received word from the seller that the switches are packed up and ready to be picked up by the shipping service tomorrow.

I expect to have them early next week.

Also, I am going to order the scart cables tonight or tomorrow as well.

Awesome, keep us posted on the cables bro.

My Duo-R is getting plenty of play time via rgb! Thanks again!

Thanks Todd! I just got my first box yesterday, just tested it today. Works fabulous with my XRGB-mini, nice clean picture and no audio hum. The box also feels very sturdy and not like a chinese piece of crap that might break at any moment. If you do another group buy of them, I think I may take another box or two as backups or for future PVMs

Update!

20 cables have been ordered from Suntek. I hope to have these in around the same time as the switches.

Also, waiting on feedback from the seller with tracking info for the switches.

edit: Tracking info received! Nearly 100 pounds of Scart switches on their way!

Hi Yodd,

just got a band ridge in the mail today.

Discovered I need a male-to-male scart…

If you have an unclaimed cable, let me know please.

I'll need to make sure everyone from the buy has there chance to get one first.

Wait, hang on, payment for cables were requested? I chimed in for one earlier in the thread, but didnt get a payment request. Broken, did you put me down for a cable as well?
no no he didn't request payment ahead of time, I just paid him now because why not.
