Todd, I'd be down for one. I'm a sucker for decent scart switches so I wouldn't mind retiring my 2nd one.

Quick question, would you be able to make a male scart end -to- 8 pin din (JP) for those of us using these with a Mini XRGB?

Hey guys

I have 5 of these initially coming in. That way I can test them and make sure they are up to snuff. I would rather risk and lose money on 5 of them rather than possibly eat the cost of 20.

I hope to have those in hand next week. If everything looks good with them, I'll bring more over.

I got the automatic switching version and it works great, got it fully loaded and I also use the headphone out as my plasma panel has no speakers, well worth the price

Heh, only just noticed this thread... bought one of these yesterday from Amazon uk, I'll let you know what they're like when it tips up.

Good luck with the group buy :)

I'd like one as well if you determine the RGB quality is as good as the previous switchbox I got from you is. Thanks!

I have one at the moment and I don't notice any difference between RGB or using a SCART to BNC adapter. The build quality is solid.

Will these work with the scart/BNC cables sold with the last batch of 3 port switches? I'm pretty sure there was a slight modification needed in the cable.

Received mine a few days ago - initial impressions - very good. It looks nice, well finished. Very light weight though... I expected bit more weight to it, feels almost too light if that makes any sense. Gold plated connector sockets, does some other stuff I'm not really interested in. Can be placed vertically or horizontally and has retractable feet for the former.

Yeah, happy with it, would recommend those in the US after a decent switch to jump on broken's group buy, doubt you'll be disappointed.

@Tarma - Do you still have the original Bandridge packaging box for the switch? Wanted to know if you could measure it for me and post the dimensions of it. This way I can get a better understanding of size for possible domestic shipping. I'll see if these will fit in USPS flatrate boxes...

@ All - first 5 units are on their way to me now. Just received email tracking info. Should have those in a couple days. 1 for me, and the other 4 go out to the first people on the list. I plan to order another 28 units after that. They will be shipped from the UK in boxes of 7 (4 boxes total). Due to the total cost to buy this many units and have them shipped at once, I will most likely take preorders on them. However the good news is the shipped to me unit price drops to about $32ish dollars per switch plus shipping from me to you. Most likely each switch will cost $10 to $12 to ship. So new price looks to be closer to $45 shipped (or slightly less) for each one!

I won't know for sure until I receive the first units and get them shipped out.

Yeah, it's all boxed up at my office, when I get in work tomorrow morning I'll measure it up and let you know. Comes with a psu that can split to euro plug from the three pin UK standard. I figure its for the additional functions, but will be useless in the US... you could remove that to reduce weight?
